MIKE PATTERSON

Owner/Funeral Director/Licensed Embalmer

Mike has been with the Colyer Funeral Home for over 30 years, as the owner since 1984. He is well acquainted with the community and surrounding area; he is involved both professionally in the business community and personally. He is a close friend of many and their families. People feel comfortable with Mike. He makes every effort to make certain that his funeral services and prices are carefully structured to his community of people. Mike graduated from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln with a Bachelors in Business and from the University of Minnesota at Minneapolis with a degree in Mortuary Science. Mike and his wife, Eileen, have been married for over 30 years; they have a daughter, Denise that resides in Colorado, and two lively grandchildren, Bailey Jo and Zayne.

STAN JEPSON

Funeral Director & Licensed Embalmer

Stan has been with the Colyer Funeral Home for over 20 years and his dedication to serving families is well-noted. Having grown up in the County, Stan is well-known by the rural community and families find comfort in his presence. His knowledge of the funeral planning procedure puts families at ease during a difficult time. Stan attended the local junior college and worked as an apprentice at the Colyer Funeral Home before enrolling and graduating from the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service in Texas in 1989. Stan and his wife Tina married in 2004. Stan has two grown daughters, Brandi and Becky, each of whom is married; one son Chase; a step-daughter Nikki, a step-son Robbie; and four grandchildren.

CHARM FRIEDLAN

Office Manager & Funeral Assistant

Charm originally sought education in the medical field and earned her CNA from DMACC in Iowa and returned to Wyoming before changing careers in care giving to funeral service when she joined the Colyer Funeral Home family in 1998. She manages everything in the office from bookkeeping, to life insurance, to designing and printing funeral service folders. She also serves as a funeral assistant and handles each family's situation with sensitivity; giving each family her emotional support and personal care. Having grown up in the County, Charm is well-known personally by many folks, from country to city. She and her husband, John, have been married for over 30 years; they have two grown sons, Jason who is married resides in Wyoming; and son Jerod resides in Arizona.
   
VIRGINIA DAVIS

Apprentice and Funeral Assistant

Virginia joined the Colyer Funeral Home in 2005. She will serve as an apprentice while training for her embalmers license. Virginia’s compassion for people and her strong desire to learn funeral service will serve her well in working with families along with the dedicated staff of the Colyer Funeral Home Family. She grew up in a small town in neighboring Nebraska and is a graduate of Chadron State College of Nebraska where she majored in Comprehensive Music in the Performing Arts. Virginia has a young daughter, Montana.

   
MARY PACK

Pre Need Funeral Insurance

Mary Pack, CSA, joined us at Colyer Funeral Home in 2001. As our Advance Planning Director, Mary helps people pre-arrange funeral services for themselves or their families and she will meet with families at the funeral home or private residence at anytime. As a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA), Mary is sensitive to the needs of those she helps. She and her husband Don have been married for over 30 years and lived in Torrington since 1989. They have four grown children and 10 grandchildren.

   
RANDY KEPHART

Funerals

Randy has been loyal part time help at the Colyer Funeral Home for over 15 years. He does our calligraphy artwork, goes on funerals, does evening visitations, catholic rosaries, and he makes road trips to bring home a family’s deceased loved ones. Randy came from neighboring Nebraska but he and his wife, Susan, of 30 plus years have lived all those years in Wyoming. They have two grown children; Chris is in Florida, and Becky, who is married, resides in Colorado. Randy is a full time vocational director for Diversified Services, an adult Life Skills Center. He and his wife are involved in the community and known by many.

   
DARIN YATES

Funerals

Darin is a dedicated part time funeral service assistant and driver. He helps with funerals, evening visitations and catholic rosary services. He also goes on road trips to bring family’s deceased loved ones home and he has been with Colyer Funeral Home family since 2000. Darin is the full time Director at the city Ambulance Service and he is very well known in the county and surrounding areas.
