Printed Tributes

We have a wide selection of register books and memorial folders to depict a way of life of the deceased, then we create unique printing inside. We also laminate the obituary on the back of the memorial folder.

Music Selection

We have a large music library of older style music or the newer more contemporary, or even a favorite country song, for families to choose from if they want CD music. If there is a musical arrangement we do not have , we will make every effort to find it. And for the more traditional way, we have local musicians who are very willing and honored to play and sing at funerals.

Balloon Release

As more personalization is requested, balloon release at the cemetery is one of these being asked for. We can arrange to have this done for families at the graveside dedication.

Bagpipes

The haunting and mystic melody of bagpipes seems to be becoming more and more in demand for the graveside dedication ceremonies. We need 24 hour notice to arrange for our bagpiper for this unique service and we are happy to do so.

Military Honors

We work with the Wyoming National Guard who then make arrangements for the rifle squad for the 21 gun salute, taps, color guard for flag folders and presentation. This is a great tribute to those who have served our country and the service is provided free of charge.

Unique Containers

For the family who want their funeral container to express in some way the life of their deceased loved one, we carry caskets and urns with distinctive style. The caskets come in warm woods or beautiful metal that best fit the personality of the deceased; and along with some caskets, family can select life style corners of gardening, hunting, golfing, angels, praying hands, or veteran's flag. In addition to that, families can also choose a casket head panel of a wide variety of scenes ; such as flowers, tractors, birds, or cattle; and text options like "Mother" , "Grandfather" , "Dad", among others. The cremation urns are also very distinguished in their individuality, complexity and simplicity. These containers can also be personalized to depict the personality of someone’s life in the fact that they are either wood, pewter, bronze, marble, or ceramic. Some have interchangeable life style panels, while others have pictures or engravings, and still others single out the branches of the military. Selecting containers at the Colyer Funeral Home is an individual preference and the helpful staff will assist you and your family in selecting the one that best portrays the personality of the deceased.

Picture Boards

Photos of the deceased’s life provided by the family, are arranged on a savable matt board, then placed in a glass fronted frame for display on an easel at the visitation and services. We even transport the photo board to the reception if there is one, and at the completion, the matt board of pictures is returned to the family to keep.
