Alicia Leigh Baldwin

With sorrowful hearts and steadfast faith, we share that our beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and cherished friend, Alicia Leigh Baldwin, completed her earthly journey on April 9, 2025, at the age of 35. Alicia was born on September 13, 1989, in Vail, Colorado, and grew up in nearby Gypsum, surrounded by the beauty of the Rocky Mountains and the love of family and lifelong friends. Her early years were filled with warmth, laughter, and the kind of connection that shaped her into someone who always made others feel seen and loved. A beautiful new chapter of her life began in 2020, when she found the place her heart had longed for in Lyman, Nebraska. She grew deeply connected to the land, and her calm, gentle spirit made her a natural with animals. Life on the ranch brought her peace, grounding her in simplicity, hard work, and quiet joy. Alicia’s passion for art and creativity was a constant thread in her life, expressed in everything she touched and carried with her. Her art reflected her soul, with every brushstroke telling a story of connection and expression. Through her creativity, she revealed the depth of her being and the beauty she saw in the world. Alicia lived a life marked by quiet strength, a vibrant inner world, and an unshakable spirit. Though life brought her many challenges, she met each one with a deep reserve of courage and a fierce love that she extended to those around her. She didn’t need to live loudly to leave a lasting impression—her gentle humor, infectious laughter, and unwavering encouragement were more than enough. Throughout her life, Alicia showed up for others, even in her own pain. She had a gift for bringing light to dark moments, often using her humor to lift others and remind them that joy could still be found. Her laughter was a force of nature, capable of softening sorrow and inviting others into a moment of relief and connection. Her fight was courageous and unrelenting, and her strength came not from pride but from a profound love that asked for nothing in return. She lived big on the inside. And she loved that way, too. Her greatest joy was her family—a blessed and large one—and the many friendships she nurtured along the way. She loved fiercely and without hesitation. Her encouragement lifted others even when she carried heavy burdens herself. Her strength was steady, rooted in her soul and reflected in her radiant humor. Her family and friends were her heart. She nurtured her bonds with deep devotion, leaving behind a legacy of love, loyalty, and cherished memories. Alicia’s laughter and unwavering support were gifts to all who knew her. She made a lasting impression on everyone she met, and her spirit will forever live in the lives she touched. Alicia is survived by her mother, Deb Baldwin; her siblings: Sherri Baldwin, Jeremy Baldwin, Annie Baldwin, Shaun Baldwin (Brenda), and Keegan Baldwin; and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends—including her lifelong best friend, Karlee Solawetz. She was preceded in death by her father, Brad Baldwin; her grandparents; and her cousin, Amy Leigh Shipley. A service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, May 23, 2025, at Colyer Funeral Home, 2935 Main Street, Torrington, WY. A celebration of Alicia’s life will follow at the Goshen County Sports Club, Road 41, Torrington, WY. All who loved her are welcome. Let Alicia's spirit live on in the way we love, in the strength we carry forward, and in the joy we choose—especially when it’s hard. Her journey is complete, but her light remains with us always.
