Bonnie Lou Randolph

Bonnie Lou Randolph, flew into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, November 18, 2020, but not before hugging and talking to every single member of her family. Once she had done this, she asked Jesus to take her home. She began God’s work on earth in Collinsville, Illinois, on May 28, 1934, with 2 brothers and a twin sister, who was too precious to stay long. God placed Bonnie here to grow up like a tom boy, swinging from the grape vines literally doing the Tarzan call. He would later ask her to become one of his angels on earth by becoming a Registered Nurse, to care for thousands of His children. She was an inspiration and mentor to many of her healthcare colleagues--loved and cherished by so many of those she cared for. She exemplified the true meaning of caring for others before herself. She met the most handsome man, Robert R. Randolph and created 5 beautiful children. Robert S. Randolph who married Dr. Bonnie Randolph. She always got a kick out of their names being the same. Kathy Ayres and the ever watchful Troy Ayres. Becky McLeod, who gets lovingly picked on the most. Mary Werner and Todd, the comedian, Werner. Sarah Anderson, and her beloved and admired Pastor David Anderson. Her most precious earthly jewels were her 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She knew and loved each one of us greatly, completely, fully. We all think we were her favorite. Waiting with open arms for her arrival home in heaven are her parents, Sydney and Eva Scaggs, a brother Jerry Scaggs and twin sister Betty Lou Scaggs. The service will be held on December 12, 2020, at North Hills Baptist Church at 2 pm. This will also be live-streamed, and you can find the link at www.northhillsbaptist.net. It was so important to her that everyone should hear about Jesus, so please honor her memory by reading her favorite Psalm 139. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Children’s Ministry at North Hills Baptist Church. We love this message she wrote in her bible, “Do the best of things in the worst of times.” Her example of loving God and people will forever be cherished and never forgotten. The closeness and strength of our family is a gift she left behind. Praise God for His grace and mercy. Until we meet again mom, grandma, sister, aunt and friend. All is well with our soul.
