Funeral services for BYRON HEATH ROSS, 47, will be held at 11am Saturday, March 28, 2015 at the LDS Church at 1101 East 22nd Avenue in Torrington. Burial will follow in the Valley View Cemetery. Byron died at his home on March 23, 2015. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to www.gofundme.com/puikq8. Visitation will be Friday from 3pm to 5pm at the funeral home and the casket will be closed at the church. Byron was born February 7, 1968, the son of Jim and June Ross of Cheyenne, Wyoming. He was a graduate of Cheyenne East High School class of 1986. Following high school he served a mission in 1987-1989 for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Boston Massachusetts Mission. He graduated from Wyo-Tech in 1991 with a degree in Business. He married his best friend, his rock and the love of his life, Jana K. Smith in the Denver Colorado Temple. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter--day Saints where he served in various callings. He was a loving husband, a great father, a son, brother, uncle, and a friend to all who knew him. Byron loved life, he loved to spend time with his family, he loved the outdoors and camping, he was fun, goofy, and loved to laugh. He had many talents, restoring old cars, building cabinetry, and a master machinist. He was always willing to be of service to others and lend a hand even when it was not convenient. He was quick to forgive and truly knew the meaning of unconditional love. Byron left behind a legacy of love and kindness that will surely be missed by those who knew him. Byron is survived by his wife Jana K. Ross of Veteran, Wyoming; three sons, Dalton, Wyatt, and Porter; four daughters, Charley, Laura, Cayley, and Molly; his parents Jim and Beverly June Ross of Cheyenne, Wyoming; two brothers Ryan (Kimberly) Ross of Omaha, Nebraska and Justin (Jolene) Ross of Cheyenne; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, O.E. (Jim) Sr and LouElla Ross and Fred and Elenor Albert; one aunt and several cousins.
