Colin "Cole" Fitzsimmons

Mass of Christian Burial for COLIN FITZSIMMONS, 64, will be held at 11am January 3, 2024, at Saint Rose Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Valley View Cemetery. Colin died December 23, 2023, at Community Hospital. A Rosary will be recited Tuesday at 6pm at the church. Visitation will be Tuesday at the funeral home from 3pm to 5pm. Arrangements are by the Colyer Funeral Home and condolences may be sent to www.colyerfuneralhome.com. Colin “Cole” Leon Fitzsimmons was born on May 30, 1959, in Casper, Wyoming. He was raised by his Aunt Lois and Uncle Arvil England. Cole grew up in Salisaw Oklahoma and spent the majority of his life in various parts of the state of Oklahoma. He was residing in Torrington, Wyoming at the time of his death. Cole was a Carpenter by trade for 40+ years. His skills and expertise were building homes, designing and assembling his own furniture, and custom cabinetry. Cole married the love of his life, Gloria Prado-Fitzsimmons on June 16, 2001. He had two biological daughters; Heather Kennemer and Tiffany Carter. Gloria had two biological boys: Simon Munoz and Dante Munoz whom they raised together. Cole spent his life fulfilling his dreams and lifelong goals, such as earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology at Welch College in Gallatin TN, owning and operating his own businesses, and teaching Adult Religious Education classes. One of Cole’s achievements was joining the Catholic religion and dedicating his time with his wife Gloria as they grew together spiritually. Cole’s hobbies consisted of raising and showing his American Staffordshire Terriers, teaching religious education classes, fishing, playing golf, but most importantly, being the biggest OU Sooner’s fan. Spending time with Gloria and his family was something Cole showed great pride in. Cole is survived by his wife, Gloria Prado-Fitzsimmons, Father Leon (Judy) Fitsimmons, brother Kelly (Terrie) Fitzsimmons, sister Nina (Mike) Hamilton, Sons Simon Munoz and Dante Munoz, and daughters Heather Kennemer and Tiffany Carter. Cole had five grandchildren Katarina, Boston, Graycee, Jaxon, Madyson, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is proceeded in death by his biological mother Goldie Connor, Lois and Arvil England.
