TORRINGTON, WY...... DORMA L. WRIGHT, 77, died , following a six year battle with cancer, on September 10, 2006 at her home, surrounded by her family, in Grangeville, Idaho. The family requests that you join them in celebration of the life their beloved Nana, Mother, and Sister on Monday, September 18, 2006 at 11:00am at the Colyer Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Glenn Bugher officiating. Burial will follow in the Valley View Cemetery. Dorma's wish to remain at home during her long illness was made possible by the loving care provided by her granddaughter, Sonja; daughter-in-love, Mary Wright; daughter, Connie; son, Danny; daughter-in-law, Sarah; brother Neil; and the Idaho Home Health and Hospice Program. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Colyer Funeral Home and friends are invited to send condolences to the family at www.colyerfuneralhome.com She was born on April 4, 1929 in Torrington, Wyoming the daughter of John and Ruby Fales; but was raised by John and Leona Fales after the death of her natural mother. Dorma married M.M. 'Shorty' Wright on April 8, 1945. While traveling through Idaho on their honeymoon, the couple fell in love with the Camas Prairie and subsequently moved to Grangeville in 1956. Dorma and Shorty raised three children and shared 47 years together until Shorty?s death in 1992. Dorma was a kind and loving person, with a warm and generous heart. She had a great sense of humor and a deep devotion to her family and friends. She was a beautiful woman who was always a lady. Dorma loved gardening and caring for her home, which was a welcoming haven to all. She loved children, and will always be remembered for the marvelous tea parties she hosted. Dorma will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her loving friend, Ron Fredrickson; her children, Terry Wright of Darwin Australia; Danny and Sarah Wright of Kennewick, Washington; and Connie Taylor of Lewiston, Idaho; her siblings, Neil Fales of Grangeville, Idaho, John Fales of Clarkston, Washington, Janice Konestes of Spokane, Washington, Connie Wagner of Blackfoot, Idaho, and Francis Fales, Marvin Fales, and Alyce Binns all of Torrington, Wyoming. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Troy Vance of Springfield, Missouri, Matt Wright, Sonja Wright, and Patrick Wright all of Seattle, Washington; Tara Hemlock of Kirkland, Washington, Ryan Wright and Ida Wright both of Pasco, Washington; Jordan Taylor of Moscow, Idaho; Clay Taylor of Lewiston, Idaho; and her six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Shorty, three brothers, Donald, Norval Lee, and Lester Fales, her mother-in-law, Phyllis Murphy, and her companion of seven years, Ira Cole.
