Earladeen Jane Lamm

Funeral services for EARLADEEN JANE LAMM, 87, will be held at 10am Monday, November 10, 2014 at the First Wyoming United Presbyterian Church with Reverend Vickie Kintzel officiating. Burial will follow in the Valley View Cemetery. Earladeen died November 5, 2014 at the Goshen Care Center. Memorials may be given to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Visitation will be Sunday from 3pm to 6pm at the funeral home. Earladeen was born July 18, 1927 in Armour, South Dakota the daughter of Earl E. And Martha Ann (Tranter) Montgomery. In 1928 she and her family moved to LaGrange, Wyoming. When she was ten the family moved to Gering, Nebraska where she received her education graduating from Gering High School with the class of 1945. Earladeen married her high school sweetheart, Tommy E. Lamm on December 8, 1946 in Gering. They moved to Ft. Laramie, Wyoming and farmed for two years with his parents. In 1952 Tom took a job managing R&M Lumber Company in LaGrange where they lived for thirty-one years and raised their family of four children Jerry, Connie Bea, Jane, and Polly. In 1982 Tom and Earladeen moved to Torrington, Wyoming to continue working in the family business R&M Lumber Company. Earladeen dearly loved and enjoyed her family and was a wonderful mother to her four children. She also enjoyed playing cards, sewing, and camping. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary for sixty years, a member of the Presbyterian Women’s Group, and a member of the First Wyoming United Presbyterian Church. Earladeen is survived by her four children, son Jerry (Debby) Lamm, three daughters Connie Bea (Dale) Brentlinger, Jane (Lee) Faber, and Polly (Dave) Helzer; eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; five step-great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law; one brother; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Tommy; one sister; three brothers-in-law, one son-in-law; one sister-in-law; and one nephew.
