TORRINGTON, WY......A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated for JoANNA CELESTE COSTELLO, 33, on Wednesday February 25th, 2009 at the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Torrington, Wyoming at 10am with the Reverend Father Carr officiating. A Rosary will be held on Tuesday evening at 7pm at the church. Viewing hours will be held on Monday the 23rd from 4-7pm at the Colyer Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the service at Valley View Cemetery. JoAnna died on February 20th 2009 at her home. Memorials can be made to the Special Olympics. Arrangements are under the direction of the Colyer Funeral Home and friends are invited to send condolences to the family at www.colyerfuneralhome.com. She was born to John and Regina(Reyes) Flores in Torrington, Wyoming on June 18, 1975. She grew up and received her education in Torrington. She attended Eastern Wyoming Junior College following her graduation in 1993. JoAnna was an educational assistant for the public schools for many years and always enjoyed helping the needs of her students. She had a special place in her heart for special needs children and people, and truly was a caring spirit. On November 2nd, 2002 she married James Costello at the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. JoAnna was employed at WalMart and worked there for 4-5 yrs until her passing. She enjoyed collecting "Bratz" dolls, bingo, playing video games with her dear nephews whom she thought of as “her boys”, attending their school activities, her ipod, friends and family, and her beloved goddaughter Elorah Doucette whom she loved dearly. She was a member of the St. Rose Catholic Church and a member of the Women’s Auxiliary. JoAnna is survived by her husband James Costello, brother Adrian and his wife Trista Flores, mother Regina Flores, all of Torrington WY, father John Flores of Lincoln, NE, grandmother Frances Reyes and aunts Patti and Kathy Reyes, all of Torrington, WY, uncles George Jr. and his wife Ecil Reyes and Richard and his wife Becky Reyes, all of Torrington, WY, uncles Louis and his wife Linda of Gering, NE and Raymond and his wife Beverly Reyes of San Antonio, TX, father and mother in law James and Jamie Costello and sister in law Sadonia Otis, all of Morrill, NE, nephews Damon, Devin, and Dylan Flores of Torrington, WY, Rich, Kayden, and Cameron Otis, all of Morrill, NE, Joel Costello, also of Morrill, NE, Sam, William, and Tristan Costello, all of Alliance, NE, many cousins, and her goddaughter Elorah and her brother Sebastian Doucette. She was preceded in death by her maternal great grandparents, her grandfather George Reyes Sr., and her paternal grandmother Maria Flores.
