TORRINGTON, WY.....Funeral Services for LILLIAN IRENE (ERNST) TEETERS, 87, will be held on Friday, October 24th 2008 at 2:30pm at the Colyer Funeral Home Chapel in Torrington, WY. with Pastor Glen Sparks officiating. Viewing hours will be from 3:30-7pm on Thursday. Burial will be at Valley View Cemetery. Memorials can be made to Prairie Haven Hospice. Lillian passed away to be with her Lord and her dear John and loving grandson Joshua on October 20, 2008 at Mitchell Care Center. Arrangements are under the direction of the Colyer Funeral Home and friends are invited to send condolences to the family at www.colyerfuneralhome.com She was born to David and Katherine (Bostrum) Ernst, one of six children, on July 19, 1921 in Ft. Collins, CO. Lillian married John Teeters in Kimball, NE on April 6, 1942. The couple moved to Lingle, WY in 1966 where she helped her husband farm and ranch, along with tending her yard, home, and taking care of her grandchildren.. She moved to Torrington in 2003, and from 2006 until 2008 she was given great care by her loving caretakers. Lillian moved to Mitchell in 2008 and resided there until her passing. She loved to cook for her family and friends, yard work, and lived her life through her children and grandchildren as an essential role in their lives. She loved to play the piano and guitar as well as sing. Lillian is survived by her daughter Carolynn Teeters of Torrington, WY; a son, Ron Teeters of Camp Verde, AZ; three sisters, Dorothy Greenwald of Torrington, WY, Florence Voslar of Cheyenne, WY, and Helen Kumuleous of Scotts Bluff, NE; one brother Floyd Ernst of Cheyenne, WY; four grandchildren Debra Essman, Tom and Chet Teeters all of Camp Verde, AZ, and Michael Scott Sandusky Jr. of Torrington, WY, and eight great-grandchildren, Logan Eddie, Colby Cash, and Michael Joshua Sandusky, all of Torrington, WY, Tanner and Chad Essman, Sierra, Reanna, Troy, Alden and Braden Teeters all of Camp Verde, AZ. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband John, three sisters Esther, Rachel, and Eleanor, two brothers Roy and Harold, one son Tom Teeters, and one grandson Joshua Sandusky.
