Michael William Frisbey

Funeral services for MICHAEL WILLIAM FRISBEY, 65, will be held at 1pm Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Faith Fellowship with Pastor Mark Webb officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in the Hartville Cemetery in Hartville, Wyoming. Michael a long time resident of Hartville and recent resident of Thermopolis, Wyoming went to be with the Lord this Monday evening, April 18, 2016 after a courageous battle with brain cancer. In lieu of flowers Michael’s wish was for donations to be made for To Every Tribe PO Box 1572, Los Fresnos, TX 78566. Visitation will be at the church prior to the service. Michael was born March 31, 1950 in Des Moines, Iowa to Jack and June Frisbey. He was an adventurous and sweet natured boy who grew up to attend Houston Baptist University obtaining a degree in Theology and History and later to serve in the US Army for two years. His adventurous spirit led him to the beautiful state of Wyoming where he enjoyed the outdoors and the quiet life Wyoming had to offer. Michael worked at the Oregon Trail Bank for twenty-five years as the Vice President before he retired in 2015. He was blessed with a sharp, beautiful mind and a heart that loved the Lord. His deep and profound faith had a lasting impact on his family and friends. Throughout his life he sought to make much of God and to praise His saving grace. To this end he became a strong supporter of ministries and joined To Every Tribe, as a chief financial officer. Michael was in many ways selfless, pouring himself into the ones he loved, as a devoted husband, father, son and brother, and as a humble servant of God. Michael is survived by his beloved wife Paula K. Frisbey; his loving children Megan A. Nicholson, Benjamin L. Nicholson, William R. Moore, Michelle A. Frisbey, Bethany G. Bakos, Jes V. Bakos, Jonathan J. Moore, Abby F. Moore, Lucas A. Moore, Jay M. Frisbey, Brett W. Frisbey, Timothy I. Moore, and Patience K. Moore; his sweet granddaughter Aeris M. Nicholson; his father Jack R. Frisbey; his siblings Jack J. Frisbey, Alexis Frisbey, Melissa E. Crawford, David R. Frisbey, and Randy M. Frisbey; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother June Frisbey.
