Patricia Ann Maser

Patricia Maser, lovingly referred to as “Patty” by everyone, went home to be with Jesus on June 23, 2026, after a brief stay in the Neuro ICU at Denver Swedish Medical Center. Services will be held on July 1, 2026, at Frontier School of the Bible Chapel at 10:00 am and officiated by Daniel and Sharon Sanders of New Mexico. A short graveside service will follow at the LaGrange Cemetery. Refreshments and a time of happy reflections of Patty’s life will be at the LaGrange Community Building hosted by the Homemakers Club. A viewing will be held at the Colyer Funeral Home in Torrington, Wyoming on June 30, 2026, from 3:00pm – 5:00pm. Or donations can be made through Pay Pal to Frederick Newton. Patty was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on March 20, 1957, to Luther and Margaret (Zigler) Foster. At 5 years of age Patty accepted Jesus as her Saviour. She spent the rest of her life trying to live for Him and be a help to everyone around her. While growing up as the oldest daughter, she helped with babies, cooking, and helping take care of her disabled sister. At 16, Patty graduated from American School of Correspondence with a high school diploma. When Patty was 19, she had her first date going Christmas caroling with Keith. He was the one and only love of her life. Within 3 weeks they were engaged and 5 months later, on May 28, 1977, the couple was married in Rock Lake, Michigan. For the next 49 wonderful years Patty worked as a teacher’s assistant in North Carolina, helped her husband start churches in Michigan and Wyoming. Their one only miracle daughter Rebekah, was born August 14, 1984, in Thomasville, North Carolina. The rest of Patty’s life was spent involved in her family, her church, and in various business ventures. These include sewing from home, owning the Longhorn Grocery & Café in LaGrange, Wyoming. Patty also served in food service in senior centers in Cheyenne, Torrington, and LaGrange, Wyoming. Patty’s hobbies included cooking, baking, reading, crocheting, and drinking Pepsi. She loved being a grandmother and watching her grandchildren grow up as well as spoiling them with unnecessary gifts and stuffed animals on shopping trips. These shopping trips quite often included a store favorite of both her and her daughter, Hobby Lobby. Patty also enjoyed making crocheted gifts and items for friends, family, and her home in her pastime. In her last week, Patty suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm. After a short stay at Swedish hospital, she passed quietly and quickly surrounded by prayer, bible verses, and singing. This saintly woman was a blessing to all who knew her and she will be greatly missed. May she enjoy all the wonders and pleasures of heaven as we wait to go and meet her. May all of us be ready. Patty is preceded in death by her father, mother, and 2 sisters, Sarah and Rachel Foster. She is survived by her husband Keith Maser of 49 loving years, their daughter Rebekah (Maser) Kauffman, and grandchildren Wyatt Kauffman and Ashley Kauffman. She is also survived by her stepmother Vernadine (Zigler) Foster and 11 brothers and sisters, Bob Foster, Jim Foster, Bill Foster, Sharon Ackley, Doris Myers, Janet Gutierrez, Larry Foster, Esther McMaster, Debbie Newton, John Foster, Mary Beth Brett.
