Rosemary Feagler

TORRINGTON, WY..... Funeral services for ROSEMARY FEAGLER, 82, will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, December 4, 2007 at the First Congregational Church with Pastor Matt Gordon officiating. Burial will follow in the Valley View Cemetery. Rosemary died on December 1, 2007 at the Torrington Community Hospital. Visitation hours will be held on Monday, December 3, 2007 from 1pm to 7pm at the Colyer Funeral Home Chapel and the casket will be open at the church service. Those who wish may direct memorial contributions in Rosemary's honor to the First Congregational Church. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Colyer Funeral Home and friends are invited to send condolences to the family at www.colyerfuneralhome.com Rosemary was born on February 13, 1925 in Longmont, Colorado the daughter of Peter and Elizabeth (Schlagel) Schlagel. In 1928 the family moved to the Torrington, Wyoming area. Rosemary received her education in Torrington. She married Herman Reel on March 23, 1947. Rosemary worked at several jobs but perhaps the most enjoyable was the time she spent as an aide at the Hospital. In 1960 the couple adopted a son, H. Harvey and in 1962 they adopted a daughter, Debra. In 1964 Herman died and on March 1, 1969, Rosemary married Henry Feagler, Jr. They made their home on a farm north of Huntley, Wyoming where she helped with the farming until 1980 when they semi-retired and moved into Torrington. After moving to town, Rosemary worked part-time at the High School cafeteria for several years before retiring completely. Rosemary enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and she enjoyed several crafts, including quilting. She liked participating in many church groups and Bible study groups. Rosemary is survived by her husband, Henry of Torrington; son and daughter-in-law, H. Harvey and Stacy Reel of Fisk, Missouri; daughter and son-in-law, Debra A. and Ronald Surratt of Torrington; five grandchildren, Dustin ( Brandy) Reel of Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri; Lacey (Jason) Wallace of Biloxi, Mississippi; Samantha Reel of Fisk, Missouri; Russell Reel of Fisk, Missouri; and Bailey Surratt of Torrington; four great grandchildren, Heaven Reel, Destiny Reel, Madison Wallace, and Triston Wallace; two sisters Rachel (Willie) Sterkel and Darlene Bower all of Torrington. She was preceded in death by her first husband, her parents, two sisters, and two brothers.
