Veronica Jean Pittman

Veronica (Roni) Jean Pittman, 71, died Thursday, April 8th, 2021 at Swedish Medical Center in Denver, CO. Roni was born November 18th, 1949 in Laona, WI to the late Walter and Arlene Mazur. She attended school in Goodman, WI and lived there until the late 70’s then moved out west. Roni met Gary Pittman Sr. in 1980 and they were married in 1984. They would be married for 37 years this year. They owned and operated G&R Drywall and later Torrington Drywall Tool and Supply, she retired in Torrington in 2007. Roni never knew a stranger and was quick to make friends with everyone. She was a very kindhearted person and would do anything for anyone. Her grandchildren were her everything. She enjoyed traveling and went on a trip of a lifetime to Indonesia. She also liked spending time in her yard and garden. Sewing was a passion of hers, making doll clothes for her grandchildren, masks for donation, and bibs. Roni is survived by her husband Gary Pittman, Sr. of Torrington, WY; son, Richard (Lynn) Delano of Mosinee, WI; son, Gary (Kim) Pittman Jr. of Torrington, WY; daughter, Michelle (Greg) Kring of North Platte, NE; son, Fred Pittman of Cypress, TX; grandchildren, Ricky and Alesha Delano of Mosinee, WI, Abby, Zach, and Dylan Kring of North Platte, NE, Kaylee and Lexi Pittman of Torrington, WY; brother, George (Barb) Mazur of Armstrong Creek, WI, sisters, Theresa Ebert of Loveland, CO, Rita (Dan) Hawley of Minot, ND, and Mary Mazur of Loveland, CO; sisters-in-law Gail (Jerry) Dotson-Rector of North Platte, NE and Marilyn Pittman of Omaha, NE, two great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Wally Mazur and mother-in-law Thelma Mayes. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 17th, 2021 at the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-Day Saints in Torrington, WY with interment at Valley View Cemetery and a reception to follow at the LDS church.
