April 27, 1944 - August 15, 2014

Funeral services for BILLIE JO WUNDER, 70, will be held at 10am Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at the First Baptist Church with Reverend Rick Cederholm officiating. Burial will follow in the Valley View Cemetery. Billie Jo died at Community Hospital in Torrington on August 15, 2014. A memorial has been established to the Waggin’ Tails Animal Shelter. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4pm to 7pm at the funeral home and the casket will be closed at the service. Arrangements are under the direction of the Colyer Funeral Home and friends may send condolences to the family at www.colyerfuneralhome.com. Billie Jo was born April 27, 1944 in St. Joseph, Missouri the daughter of Ernie and Grace (Scribner) Langdon. Her family moved to the Lyman, Nebraska area and she grew up and attended school in Huntley, Wyoming before moving to Torrington, Wyoming. She married Jack Prickett, they had four children and the couple later divorced. She later married Don Wunder, they had a son, and the couple later divorced. Billie Jo then raised her five children in Torrington. She worked as a lab technician, a phlebotomist, and later taught herself medical transcriptioning. She worked in these fields in Arizona and Wyoming. She retired due to ill health. Billie Jo enjoyed gardening, horseback riding, refinishing furniture, raising bottle calves and chickens, and canning and freezing her garden produce. She loved the outdoors and spent as much time as she could there. Billie Jo is survived by two daughters Vickie Bohnenkamp of Indianapolis, Indiana and Jackie Prickett (Jim Childs) of Torrington, Wyoming; three sons Brian Prickett (Rhonda) of Wright, Wyoming, Brad Prickett (Deb) of Torrington, and Don Wunder of Cheyenne, Wyoming; a brother Ernest Langdon (Dorrise) of Oviedo, Florida; two sisters Leona Jacob of Indianapolis, and Mary Hammons of Chadwick, Missouri; grandchildren Mindy Cornelio (Brandon), Ryan Bohnenkamp, Michael Bohnenkamp, Brandon Childs, Staci Reichner, Jamie Prickett, Kristy Prickett, Evan Wunder, Josh Wunder; five additional grandchildren by marriage, and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Ernie and Grace Langdon.
