TORRINGTON, WYOMING...........Grave side services for CONNIE BEA BRENTLINGER, 70, will be held at 11am Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at the Valley View Cemetery with Reverend Bruce McBurney officiating. Connie passed away January 24, 2020 surrounded by her family after a fight with pancreatic cancer in Fort Collins, Colorado. Memorials may be made to Pathways Hospice at 305 Carpenter Road, Fort Collins, Colorado 80525. Arrangements are by the Colyer Funeral Home and condolences may be sent to www.colyerfuneralhome.com. Connie Bea was born January 21, 1949 to Tommy E and Earladeen (Montgomery) Lamm. She was raised in LaGrange Wyoming. After graduating in 1967 she went to work for the FBI in Washington DC for one year. In 1968 she returned home and went to work for Lockwood’s Corporation in Gering, Nebraska. Later she moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma and worked for a manufacturing firm for several years then went to work for Briscoe and Robinson CPA before moving back to Torrington, Wyoming. Connie Bea Dr. Dale Brentlinger and they were married on July 17, 1993. She followed her husband to Colorado, Wyoming and they ended up retiring in Fort Collins, Colorado. During her marriage she worked at the Chamber in Pueblo, The Statement in Cheyenne and the Governor’s Mansion in Cheyenne. Connie Bea went to work for My Sister Knits in Fort Collins and was a member of the Goshen County Quilters Association. She stood out in a crowd with her poise, her love of visiting and her great taste in clothing. She was an avid quilter, seamstress and knitter. She loved making quilts and clothes for her grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She knitted many items for her family. Connie Bea lived life to its fullest and family was most important to her. She loved her family dearly and loved spending time with them. He passion for life was evident for all those who knew her. Connie Bea is survived by her husband Dale, step-son Eric (Marge) Brentlinger, step-son Doug (Jody) Brentlinger, brother Jerry (Debby) Lamm, sister Jane (Lee) Faber, sister Polly (Dave) Helzer, five step-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, step-son Peter Brentlinger, and brother-in-law James Bratschi.
