She married Edward W. Wolski on Nov. 28, 1948 in Mitchell and the couple enjoyed 58 years together. For a number of years she enjoyed her hobby of cooking for others at the Senior Friendship Center. Gladys particularly enjoyed making caramel-pecan angel food cakes for her friends. When not in the kitchen she enjoyed the outdoors and always had a large and bountiful garden while living on the farm. After moving to town she enjoyed going to weekly yard sales and taking the monthly bus journey to Prairie Winds. Gladys was a very generous and sharing person who enjoyed the simple things in life and never was a person to complain. She was a Past Worthy Matron of the Order of Eastern Star and a member of the Presbyterian Church in Torrington.
