Isabel Martinez Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated for ISABEL MARTINEZ, 92, at 10am Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at Saint Rose Catholic Church with Father Ray Moss officiating. Isabel died November 26, 2013 at her home and cremation will take place following services. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses. A Rosary/Wake will be recited on Monday at 7pm at the church. Visitation will be on Monday from 3pm to 6pm and the casket will be open at the rosary. Isabel was born November 20, 1921 in Mercedes, Texas the daughter of Elodio and Manuella (Martel) Castillo. She grew up in Texas and it was there that she married Leandro Martinez. They moved to Torrington, Wyoming in 1970. She was a homemaker and loved taking care of her family. Isabel was a member of Saint Rose Catholic Church and the Torrington Senior Center. She enjoyed animals, cooking, dancing and especially being with her family. Isabel is survived by four sons Jose "Jessie" Martinez Sr and Robert Martinez of Torrington, Wyoming, Raymond Martinez Sr of Lincoln, Nebraska, and Abraham Martinez of Casper, Wyoming; two daughters Guadalupe Price of Scottsbluff, Nebraska and Paula Pena of Torrington; a brother Sotero Castillo of Mitchell, Nebraska; twenty-five grandchildren; and numerous great and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a grandson; and six sisters
