James M. Huckfeldt Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Funeral services for JAMES M. HUCKFELDT,64, will be held at 10am Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at the Colyer Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Rick Cederholm officiating. Burial will follow in the Valley View Cemetery. James died July 16, 2015 at Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, Colorado. Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice. Visitation will be Monday from 3pm to 5pm and the casket will be open briefly following the service. Jim was born May 20, 1951 in McCook, Nebraska the son of James Paul and Bonnelle (Wight) Huckfeldt. His family lived in various places in western Nebraska and eastern Wyoming including Torrington where they finally settled in 1961. He graduated Torrington High School in 1969. He attended Eastern Wyoming College for a time before starting work Holly Sugar at the Torrington factory. He also worked part time for the Wyoming Theater operating the projectors. He married Pauline Brooks in Torrington on September 1, 1972. Jim enjoyed watching the Rockies and Broncos games. Jim is survived by his wife Pauline of Torrington, Wyoming; a daughter Kimberly Huckfeldt of Gillette, Wyoming; and three brothers Stan Huckfeldt and Jerry (Debbie) Huckfeldt both of Torrington, and Rick Huckfeldt of Cheyenne, Wyoming. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother Rod Huckfeldt; his mother-in-law, and a brother-in-law.
