Funeral services for WILEY TYE CROSS, 30, will be held at 11am Monday, July 11, 2016 at the Pavilion at the Goshen County Fairgrounds with Pastors Dave Fredrickson and Tom Gorake officiating. Burial will follow in the Hull Cemetery. Wiley died from injuries received in an auto accident on July 5, 2016. Memorials may be made to the family to be designated later. Visitation will be Sunday from 3pm to 5pm at the funeral home and the casket will be closed at the service. Wiley was born October 17, 1985 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska the son of Adam and Teresa (Brunkhardt) Cross. He grew up and received his education in Torrington graduating from Torrington High School in 2004. He then attended Eastern Wyoming College for three years graduating there in 2007 with an Associates Degree in Wildlife Management. He married Morgan Berg on May 19, 2007 in Torrington. He worked as a government trapper for Goshen County and also ranched in the Torrington area. Wiley enjoyed hunting, fishing, rodeo, trapping, and cooking. He was a member of the National Rifle Association. Wiley is survived by his wife Morgan Cross and son Truett Cross of Torrington, Wyoming; parents Adam and Teresa Cross of Lyman, Nebraska; sisters Abby (Dale) Heggem of Torrington and Sadie Cross of Laramie, Wyoming; a brother Augustus (Amy) Cross of Lyman; his paternal grandmother Barbara Cross of Harrisburg, Nebraska; maternal grandfather Victor Brunkhardt of Lyman; and nephews Jasper and Zeb Heggem of Torrington. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Keith Cross; maternal grandmother Margie Brunkhardt; and an uncle Brad Cross.
