Memorial services for WILMA R. BINGHAM, 83, will be held at 1pm Monday, December 12, 2016 at the Lingle Community Presbyterian Church with Reverend Vickie Kintzel officiating. Burial of the ashes will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery. Wilma died November 22, 2016 at the Goshen Healthcare Community and cremation has taken place. Memorials may be given to The Goshen Healthcare Community. Arrangements are under the direction of the Colyer Funeral Home and friends may send condolences to the family at www.colyerfuneralhome.com. Wilma was born May 30, 1933 in Lingle, Wyoming the daughter of Emil and Marjorie (Mosteller) Lair. She joined her sisters Shirley and Miriam. She grew up and received her education in Lingle graduating there in 1951. She married Charles (Chuck) Oates on June 21, 1952 in Lingle and they had two children Susan Marie and Charles Robert. After Chuck’s death she married Leroy “Sam” Bingham on April 16, 1978 in Lingle. They purchased the Stage Coach Café in Lingle and ran it until December of 2000. Wilma was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Lingle Community Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed visiting with people. Wilma is survived by her husband Sam Bingham of Torrington, Wyoming; daughter Susan Walker of Quinton, Virginia; son Charles Robert Oates Sr of Torrington; sister Miriam Bremer of Lingle, Wyoming; five grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband Charles Oates; and her sister Shirley Price.
