Alyce Fales Binns

TORRINGTON, WY . . . . Funeral services for ALYCE MARIE FALES BINNS, 66, will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, April 26, 2007 at the United Methodist Church with Reverend Glenn Bugher officiating. Burial will follow in the Valley View Cemetery. Alyce went to meet her heavenly Father on April 21, 2007; passing away at Torrington Community Hospital after her battle with cancer. Visitation hours will be held at the Colyer Funeral Home on Wednesday from noon until 7pm; Thursday from 9am to noon; and the casket will be open at the church service. Those who wish may direct memorial contributions in Alyce's memory to the Special Touch Program at Torrington Community Hospital. Arrangements are under the direction of the Colyer Funeral Home and friends are invited to send condolences to the family at www.colyerfuneralhome.com Alyce was born on July 14, 1940 in Torrington, Wyoming the daughter of John and Leona (Coons) Fales. She attended Torrington schools for 10 years; receiving a perfect attendance certificate for 8 of those 10 years. In 1954 she moved with her family to Idaho; returning to Torrington in 1976 to make her home and further her education. She attended Eastern Wyoming College where she received her Associates Degree and a CNA certificate for Certified Nurse Assistant. Alyce loved to crochet; and she made Afghans for all her friends and family. She was an in-home health caregiver for her father and mother and several other non-family. Her grandchildren were the loves of her life. She is survived by her four children; two daughters, Brenda Cunningham of Bishop, California, and Lori (Brian) Smith Madrid of Phoenix, Arizona; two sons, Donald Binns of Bishop, California, and Michael (Kari) Binns of Nampa, Idaho; two sisters, Connie Wagner of Blackfoot, Idaho, and Janice Konestes of Spokane, Washington; four brothers, Francis Fales and Marvin (Darlene) Fales all of Torrington, Wyoming, John (Thelma) Fales of Clarkston, Washington, and Neil Fales of Grangeville, Idaho; five grandchildren, Jeremy and Jennifer Cunningham of Torrington, Wyoming; Jamie Barnes of Bishop, California, and Brittany and Rozzie Binns of Nampa, Idaho; ten great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Lester, Donald, and Norval; one sister Dorma Wright, and one sister-in-law, Alice Fales.
