Ancelmo Andrez Lopez

Ancelmo Andres Lopez "Jr" was welcomed home and reunited with his beloved mother on September 21, 2022. Ancelmo was a gentle giant with the biggest heart, that was severely broken when his mother passed away just shy of two years, this November. Funeral Services will be held at the Saint Rose Catholic Church, in Torrington, Wyoming. The family asks that you wear casual attire, but incorporate the color purple, as that reminded him of his mother. Ancelmo was born on December 21, 1996 to Ancelmo Lopez and Serafina Lopez in Torrington, Wyoming. He was the second oldest of 6 children. He was very protective of his younger siblings and even his older sister growing up. He had an unbreakable bond with his mother Serafina, dubbing him a "mama’s boy" Ancelmo grew up in Torrington, Wyoming and attended school there. He met and grew up with his friend of 19 years, Jackson. Jackson was his right-hand man, along with his very special uncle, Isidro Cortez. Ancelmo was always meant to be a father. He loved babies so much, always wanting to hold his little brothers, nephews/niece and cousins every opportunity he got. He was able to fulfil that milestone, becoming a father to two beautiful babies, Roman and Bowie. Ancelmo enjoyed music. He enjoyed being a father and loved life. Sadly, that all changed when his uncle Isidro Cortez passed away in 2020 and six months later, his beloved mother also passed away. Ancelmo's mental health, passion for life, and all things that he loved so much, was slowly denigrating. He turned to unhealthy coping mechanisms and a deep depression. His children moved away and he felt like he had nothing. The darkness was short lived though, as he accepted Jesus Christ into his life. He was passionate about Jesus and read his bible religiously. He was able to start his healing process, but also started fighting for his life. He turned to his friends and family for support and was able to make peace with everyone he loved. He left this earth knowing, he would be reunited with his mother and his uncle. Ancelmo is survived by his father, Ancelmo Lopez Sr. His siblings, Blanca (Anthony) Rodriguez, Ricky Lopez, Moses Lopez, Josiah Lopez and Gustavo Lopez. His two children, Roman and Bowie. Many aunts and uncles, an abundance of cousins, his grandparents, Alisia (Sergio) Cortez. His best friend Jackson. He was proceeded in death by his loving mother, Serafina Lopez, his uncle Isidro Cortez, his uncle Moses Franco, his grandmother, Virginia Gomez, his grandparents in Mexico, his baby cousin Steven Blanco Jr. Ancelmo will be missed by his family, but his legacy will live on through his children.
