TORRINGTON, WY......Memorial services for CAROL D. ANDREWS, 77, will be held on August 13, 2008 at 10am at the Colyer Funeral Home Chapel with Michael Andrews officiating. Cremation has taken place. Carol died on August 8, 2008 at Heritage Estates in Gering, NE. Memorial contributions can be made to Heritage Estates Alzheimer Unit in Gering. Carol was born October 1, 1930 in Scotts Bluff County to Lloyd and Caroline(DeVoss) Fenimore. She grew up in Scotts Bluff where she received her education and high school diploma in 1948. She married her high school sweetheart, Hershel A. Andrews Jr. on December 10, 1948 at Scotts Bluff, NE. and the couple farmed near Terrytown. They then moved to the Winter Creek Farm northwest of Scotts Bluff and worked for Cook Livestock. In 1963, they started Andrews Livestock in western Nebraska and eastern Wyoming. In 1969 they moved to Torrington, Wyoming. Carol worked for J. C. Penny in Scotts Bluff and Yesterday’s in Torrington. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Scotts Bluff. She loved to draw and paint, playing the piano, crossword puzzles, mystery books, being the family historian, and old movies. She was a loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, and grandmother who brought laughter and love to her family and her friends. She considered her daughter-in-laws to be her daughters. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law David and Christy Andrews of Douglas, WY, son and daughter-in-law Joel (Tom) and Donna Andrews of Lingle, WY, son and daughter-in-law Michael and Sonia Andrews of Mobrige, SD, grandchildren Jeremy Andrews of Green Valley, AR, Kriquette and husband Chris Garcia of Portland, OR, Shain Andrews of Parker,CO, Farrah and husband Daren Rhea of Pinedale, WY, Lance Andrews and wife Anna of Pittsburgh, PA, Lacee Andrews of Birmingham, AL, and Lonee Andrews of Mobridge, SD, and three great grandchildren Aiden Rhea, Dace Rhea, and Maisy Andrews. She was proceeded in death by her parents, husband Hershel Andrews Jr., brother Fred Fenimore, and sister Charol Sauer.
