TORRINGTON, WYOMING...........Funeral services for EVELYN “LYN” NOTMAN LOWRY 75, will be held at 1pm Saturday, November 8, 2008 at the Eastgate Baptist Church with Pastor Tim Sparks officiating. Burial will follow in the Valley View Cemetery. Lyn died November 3, 2008 in Snellville, Georgia. Memorials have been established to the Alzheimer’s Association, Lyman Christian Church, or Eastgate Baptist Church. Visitation will be Friday from 3pm to 7pm and the casket will be open at the service. Lyn was born May 28, 1933 in Scotts Bluff County, Nebraska on her grandfather Lowry’s farm the daughter of Orval and Maude Notman. She graduated from Huntley High School in Huntley, Wyoming and then attended Boise Bible College before joining the U.S. Air Force in 1954. She met and married Loren Means while in the Air Force and they were later divorced. She went on a church mission to Germany for several years. She spent the last years of her life in Atlanta, Georgia. She spent her life lovingly devoted to her family and devoutly serving her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Now she is free to once again sing his praises for all eternity. Lyn is survived by two sons, Kevin Means of Farmington, Connecticut and Scott Means and his wife Jennifer of Lawrenceville, Georgia; a daughter Lori Arnold and her husband Randy of Akron, Colorado; five sisters, Vivian DiDonato of Lakewood, Colorado, Marilyn Willadsen and her husband Stanley of Torrington, Wyoming, Carolyn Schwab and her husband Melvin of Brush, Colorado, Linda Boe and her husband John of Edwards, Colorado, and Kathy Bow and her husband Jerry of Lakewood, Colorado; three brothers, Harold Notman and his wife Barbara of Lyman, Nebraska, James Notman and his wife Bonnie of Bridgeport, Nebraska, and Gerald Notman and his wife Sharon of Yoder, Wyoming; and she was a loving grandmother to Andrew Means, Laura Means, Sarah Means, Lisa Means, Emily Means, Chelsea Arnold, and Katie Arnold. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her infant sister Jeanette.
